Upper Lachlan Shire Council has created a new engagement and consultation website for ratepayers, residents and other interested parties to have their say about Council plans and activities.
The Have Your Say Upper Lachlan website features current and archived plans and proposals, surveys and updates on programs and projects currently under way or planned for the future.
General Manager Colleen Worthy described the new website as the community engagement hub of the Upper Lachlan.
“Along with news and updates, the site offers the opportunity for community engagement through surveys and comments, and also advertises upcoming community consultation meetings and events,” she said.
“There are many existing ways to have your say about a range of Council activities and processes, including mail, emails and by phone, and we encourage people to still make contact these ways, but it is hoped that this website will bring a lot of the relevant information together, and allow others to benefit from the questions asked and responses provided.”
